Recent changes in the Bulgarian legislation affecting buyers and sellers of real estate
What the people need to keep in mind when make a deals with real estate in Bulgaria?
1.If the transaction amount equals or exceeds 15 000 BGN. (Or its equivalent in foreign currency, which is used in the transaction, at the rate of BNB - Bulgarian National Bank), in which case payment is mandatory to be made by bank transfer.
2. Even if the size of an intermediate amount of payment is less than 15 000 leva. (Such as an advance deposit 1000 BGN.) Payment should also pay by bank transfer, if the total transaction amount equals or exceeds 15 000 BGN.
3.Ogranicheniya apply to payments that were not completed at the time of entry into force of the Law on the Limitation of payment in cash - ZOPB (ie up to 26.02.2011 was).
